Tuna Biscuits

8 oz. can tuna packed in oil
2 cups white or yellow cornmeal
2 cups flour
3/4 cup water
2/3 cup canola or vegetable oil 1/2 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small mixing bowl, mix the cornmeal and flour. In a separate bowl, mix together the tuna with the oil, the water, vegetable oil and salt. Add the flour mixture a small amount at a time, mixing well to make sure the dry ingredients completely incorporate into the wet mixture. Roll the dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into small pieces and bake on a greased cookie sheet for 25-30 minutes.


Crunchy Tuna Balls

1 can tuna in water, drained
1/2 cup turkey or chicken, cooked and diced
2/3 cup dry cat food (your cat's favorite)
Bread torn into small crumbs

Combine all ingredients in small bowl and mix well. Form into small balls. Place in refrigerator to chill for an hour. When hour is up, remove balls and roll in bread crumbs.

Kitty Krackers

1 6-ounce can undrained tuna (packed in oil)
1 cup cornmeal
1 cup unbleached flour
1/3 cup water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Measure all ingredients into a bowl and mix thoroughly with your hands.
Roll out to 1/4-inch thick and cut into treat-sized pieces with knife or cookie cutter.
Place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden.
