Paws and Learn is run entirely by volunteers, and this collaborative effort allows us to educate an average of 10,000 people per year. If you’re passionate about animals, we’d love your help! There are a variety of opportunities, and while some require extensive knowledge about animal welfare issues, some simply require a desire to help. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about any of the options listed below. (Note: We are not a shelter, and do not offer any opportunities to work with live animals.)
We provide the handouts and all necessary supplies, and volunteers assemble the material into packages that are given to every student we reach. Help is needed year round and work is done in the volunteer's home. Time commitment: volunteer’s choice.

Each holiday season volunteers have the opportunity to gift wrap items at local bookstores in exchange for donations from customers. Stores provide supplies, and Paws & Learn keeps 100% of the proceeds. The more wrappers we have, the more funds we can raise for our programs! Shifts are available all hours on weekdays and weekends in December. Time commitment: 2 – 4 hrs per shift.
